I need your help!
I would like to personally invite you to participate in an IABC/Richmond Chapter Organizational Meeting and Brainstorming Session on Thursday, April 20 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the Tuckahoe Library 1901 Starling Drive Henrico, Virginia 23229-4564. The library is off Parham Road on a road across from the Woody Funeral Home and a block from the intersection of Three Chopt and Parham. Refreshments will be provided.
In 2017, IABC/Richmond is working to regroup and rebuild, and your insight, ideas and hearty participation in this meeting would be greatly appreciated!
As you may know, the goals of IABC at the international level include:
• Setting the standard of global excellence for professional communicators;
• Working to position the communication field as a strategic function that has a demonstrable business value;
• Helping to forge invaluable business connections and lifelong friendships.
The goal of this meeting is to collaborate and to form an actionable business plan for the Richmond chapter so that we can reinforce IABC’s goals on the local level for the communicators in our area. The first step in this process will be filling chapter board positions and creating committees that can provide a firm foundation to support future chapter activities.
This event is free, but please RSVP by 12 Noon on Wednesday, April 19, by contacting Mary Ann Delano at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 804-360-0936 to attend. Even if you are unable to attend, we would love your comments, ideas and feedback which you can provide to me or Mary Ann.
Feel free to bring or invite other communicators in your organization or community to this meeting as long as they also RSVP.
I look forward to seeing you there!
